Data Analytics

Recently, I gathered social media video stats for multiple video works I’ve done for Axel Thesleff, pulling data from YouTube and Instagram. The data collection itself was straightforward—just some simple Excel gathering, no fancy tricks.
To turn this into a structured analysis, I formatted the data to make it suitable for Power BI and used Power Query for transformations. From there, I built an interactive dashboard to visualize key metrics.
Seeing all the numbers in one place brought a nice new perspective to the reach and impact of the videos. With over 1 million plays overall, the results are actually pretty nice.
This project was a great way to refine my Power BI workflow while gaining new insights into video performance data.
